Windsor Big Paddle 2023

Canoe, kayak or paddleboard 10 miles of the River Thames from Ferry Cookham to Windsor Eton Bridge in support of Kidasha. 

  • When: 1st October, 10am (ends about 2pm)
  • Where: START at Ferry Cookham (SL6 9SN), END at Windsor & Eton Brewery (SL4 1SE)
  • Entry: £50pp includes all equipment, river license, t-shirt, and a great day out with trained instructors and adventurers
As with most good journeys, this one ends at a pub! The Windsor & Eton Brewery are kindly supporting this event and welcome all participants to relax with a well-earned pint and perhaps a few celebratory activities.
 
This event is organised by Canoe & Kayak Adventures following the announcement that Kidasha has been chosen as their charity of the year. This is not a speed test – the aim is to simply complete the journey and enjoy the adventure.

NOTE: this journey is designed for people with some experience; we do not recommend complete novices to take part. If you are interested in paddling and want to gain experience please contact Canoe & Kayak Adventures who can arrange lessons.
