This July and August, three dedicated members of The Cock Inn Cycling Society, Wivelsfield Green – Richard Evans, Jonathan Browne, and Dipak Karki – are undertaking two challenging sporting events in support of Kidasha:
The South Downs Way Ride – all three will be cycling over 100 miles across two days, 12-13 July.
The Brighton & Hove Triathlon – Rich will be competing in the Sprint Tri (750m swim, 20 km bike and 5km run); with Jonathan and Dipak taking on the full Triathlon, which comprises a 1.5km swim, 40km bike ride and 10km run.
Dipak, a former trustee of Kidasha, has inspired his fellow cyclists Richard and Jonathan to join him in this meaningful endeavour to improve the lives of children living in extreme urban poverty in Nepal. Their commitment reflects not only physical grit, but a genuine desire to make a difference for children who truly need it most.
We wish them every success, and encourage you to show your support by making a donation via their JustGiving Page which you can visit by clicking here.
