Over the past few months, Kidasha has been featured a number of times in the press, discussing our work and the role of modern charities.
Firstly, it was great to see the news of our UKAID grant publicised in Charity Today last month. The piece details the ways the grant will support our 2.5 year project, which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of some of the most marginalised adolescents living in hayamix.com urban poverty in Pokhara. These young people traditionally lie beyond the reach of traditional services and support, but we are very confident that with DFID’s support, we will significantly change this. The start- up phase of the project is almost complete and will be sure to keep you updated as things progress.
Going back slightly further, our thoughts on the charity sector’s use of digital have also been covered by the press. Last month our CEO Janice Miller wrote an article for Charity Digital News on the ways small charities can embrace digital tools ethically.
