Kidasha has been creating lasting change for those in need in Nepal by adopting innovative approaches to drive systemic change. An example of this is the development, adaptation and mainstreaming of life skills courses into the regular curriculum in two Local Education Authorities and 75 government schools.

Incredible progress has been made from a pilot directly running classes in slum communities to life skills education being delivered by teachers in 75 government schools reaching over
7,000 of the poorest children in urban areas every year.
It is a perfect example of Kidasha’s approach to driving lasting change and our ethos of
enabling self-sufficiency and therefore sustainability.
This has been made possible by sustained year on year investment from the Manan Trust.
