We’d like to thank everyone who has already supported our incredible fundraisers in their Kidasha Challenge 25 activities. So far, your donations have helped us raise nearly £10,000 in total, with gift aid!

Due to the immense support we’ve received for this campaign, we have decided to extend our Challenge 25 deadline until the end of this year!
This means that our wonderful Kidasha community can continue to commemorate our 25th anniversary for the rest of 2022, through donations and planned challenges.
So far, Kidasha supporters have embarked on cartwheel-a-thons and half-marathons, canoeing 25km and hiking for multiple consecutive days!
As we commemorate 25 years of work with Nepal’s most vulnerable and marginalised children, we recognise that our work wouldn’t be possible without our incredible teams on the ground in Nepal.
Now more than ever, children living in urban poverty are particularly vulnerable to long-term harm resulting from neglect, violence, abuse and exploitation.
Without effective protection and support, these children will remain trapped in the cycle of poverty for the rest of their lives.

Here’s an update on some of our challenge milestones:

Gwyn Davies completed a 25km run for Kidasha
Earlier this month, Kidasha supporter Gwyn ran the Clarendon Half-Marathon (plus a further 4km) in support of Kidasha.
Traveling from Salisbury to Winchester in support of Nepal’s most vulnerable children, Gwyn completed the run in just 2 hours and 52 minutes, raising a total of over £1,300 (incl GA) for our Challenge 25!

Janice Miller completed a 25×3 challenge for Kidasha
Our CEO, Janice, cycled 25km, canoed 25km and walked 25km for her Challenge 25! Battling flooding, thunderstorms, and a puncture (not to mention a fear of water!), Janice finished her challenge in just 2.5 days.
Despite feeling achy and slightly soggy in the days following her challenge, Janice raised a total of £6,800 (incl GA) for Kidasha!
It’s still not too late for you to get involved in our Challenge 25. Please email enquiries@kidasha.org and let us know what you’re planning to do – we can help you to set up a fundraising page and spread the word across social media.
